Located just opposite the Georges Pompidou Center, the Café Beaubourg was founded by the Costes. I should have known, as the Costes are known for really cool places. I went there recently with my cousin, the new resident, and was once again pleased.
This is a good address to know. The restaurant?s design is great: large red curtains, contemporary furniture, warm colors. There is a large terrace (heated in winter), which is a super place to relax and people watch, especially on weekends. Bathrooms are in tiptop design condition (hey, this is important!) They serve excellent cappuccinos and the cooking is quite international. This place has amazing hamburgers. Huge! Among the best in Paris. And finally, the staff is quite affable. Go.
