My honey forgot Valentine's Day. He said he didn't buy me anything based on principle, that its too commericalized and that every day is Valentine's Day for him. I thought that sounded sweet, but then again, I am a girl and I wanted something...even a home made card. Should I be angry?

You can stop because HELL YEAH you should be ANGRY. Maybe it's my jetlag, but yes we should be treated nicely everyday. Come on, we all know Valentines Day is one day out of the year that we have chosesn to place on the calander and which is UNIVERSAL to do something EXTRAVAGANT, ROMANTIC and SPECIAL for your HONEY.

Maybe you should voice how this made you feel and that you do understand that everyday should be Valentine's Day but it would mean alot to you for him to still celebrate it with you. As we all know MEN can be slow in this DEPARTMENT at times. They do not realize how it makes us feel EMOTIONALLY and we do have to tell them.

As you know sometimes you may have to remind them over and over again about the SAME thing. They do not realize at times it is the SMALL stuff that makes a difference. Tell him how it made you feel not to receive anything from him. Tell him that he could of made you a homemade card or even wrote you a poem. COMMUNICATION is the KEY. I am sure he will understand and do better next time.
