 Lance Armstrong made my day as he announced that he will return to the world of professional cycling. He will ride for the Astana team and compete in the Tour Down Under in Adelaide, Australia, in January. His goal is not only to win races, but to head a global fight against cancer compaign.

 A couple of weeks ago my computer died. It just went and took everything I had in it, with it. Thank God for key cards and external hard drives.
Last week, I accidentally shrank six shirts in my new washing machine/dryer combo. I knew it sounded risky when the salesperson at Darty explained how wonderfully this one appliance could fit into my small kitchen space. I was right. Whoever heard of one machine that does washing and drying? It just sounds weird.

 The pope is trying to rope in the French, bring them back to the
church, but he will have a tough time of it! French people haven?t been
?practicing Catholics? for years. According to a 2007 poll, 64 percent
of the French consider themselves Catholic, but only five percent are
active. Coming from a Baptist church in the heart of Alabama, that?s a bit shocking to me. Only five percent. Out of 64. Ah, the heretics! Wait, what's that saying? Something about glass houses?
