French blogger Benjamin Ball has organized a protest today entitled NO SARKOZY DAY. For Parisians, the event starts at 2pm at Place de la République (bien sur) and runs until 8pm, finishing with a free live concert at Place d'Italie. You should aggressively avoid these areas unless you really want to participate. If you’re just going for a stroll though, trust me, this is not where you want to be: massive police, massive "protesters", and massive rain, expected.
The blogger has been receiving a lot of support, notably through his Facebook page and blog. Organizers are expecting up to 50,000 participants in Paris and 100,000 throughout France.
Oh la la la la. To be continued.
