Last Minute Christmas Shopping
Written by Priscilla Lalisse-Jespersen
giftsIf you haven’t already bought your gifts, don’t worry. Here are a few places here in Paris where you can still find great items (and not only for Christmas!).

Maison de Chocolat
A must for any true chocolate lover! Very tasty indeed. A little on the pricey side, but worth every single bite. There's a "quick" location in the Carrousel de Louvre, and a bigger store at Place de Ternes.

Lenotre
last_min_chmasExcellent chocolate as well. In addition to their trademark brown and purple boxes, this year they have fancy gray and black boxes with jewels. Lenotre is a "traiteur de luxe". You can_not_go_wrong with Lenotre. One of the best locations is at the metro Villiers.

Decathlon
THE store for anything sport-related. From running shoes to bikes to ski supplies, Decathlon is a place where you can wander around for hours.

The store at Place de Ternes, Avenue Wagram is one of the best.

Pylones
pylonesLooking for something different? Unique? Then Pylones is your place. From decorated laptop carriers to all types of accessories, Pylones has something from everyone, especially the young’uns. Most of their products come in very bright colors and are oh so much fun. Check out the store at La Madeline (same shopping center as Madelios, another great store just for men.)

Uniqlo
Cashmere sweaters for 89 Euros! I say again: Cashmere sweaters for 89 euros! This Japanese chain has only been open for a couple of months here in Paris and it is all the rage. Be prepared to stand in line though, especially at the rue Scribe location.

Lavinia
Wine and champagne lovers will love almost anything you get from this store, which features two levels of tasty stuff. You can also fine accessories such as Riedel and Spiegelau glasses.

Le Bon Marche
For the person who has a million ideas but can’t decide: Le Bon Marche is a department store filled with practically everything! If you can’t find a gift there, you’re not looking! Don't forget to check out La Grande Epicerie next door.

La Grande Recre
la_grande_recreThis is the address you need for the kiddies! One of the nicer locations? The location next to Saint Lazare. Also in the neighborhood? Three Starbucks (yes, three) and an indoor "mall" Passage du Havre, where you can find such stores as H&M, Gap, Celio, Zara and Sephora, to name a few).

We're not listing all the store addresses here but we have given you a few hints as to where to find the best locations and the links! However, if you have any trouble locating there gems, do send us a quick email and we'll help you out further. Mais oui!

Now we've gotta finish our own shopping!
