 As we recently told you, the American bookstore Brentano's has closed down. However, they're currently "back in business", at least for a week. From September 7-12 you can check out their "liquidation sale." Sad...but cheap(er).
When I went on the first day the store was a bit packed, so be armed with patience should you go. Paperbacks were 5€ each, and children's books were going for -40%. I scooped up Harlan Coben's Hold Tight from a pile, as well as some Mr. Men books. They also had a great selection of Halloween and Christmas decorations. Never too early for a little holiday cheer.
