image0004paris_plage.jpgFor all of you who are longing for a little beach atmosphere while in Paris, head over to Paris Plage. Now in it's ninth edition, it's worth a visit, especially if you like walking along the Seine. There weren't as many people as I expected the day I journeyed over there, but still plenty of adults and kids. For them, there are sprinklers, a giant sandbox and a swimming pool (kids must be in swim wear with caps to enter and parents as well). For adults there are exercise machines, lounge chairs to read, petanque (balls) and of course the "beach" area where people really seemed to enjoy themselves. There will also be free concerts.
