Expatsradio.com is delighted to welcome back American in Paris Priscilla who is the Editor of www.Prissymag.com
In this programme she tells us about a celebration she attended.
On Thursday October 14, 2010 Prissy Mag had the immense pleasure of attending «Celebrating Beauford» at the George C. Marshall Center in the Hôtel Talleyrand, Paris. Sponsored by Les Amis de Beauford Delaney and the American Embassy’s Public Affairs office, the event honored African-American painter Beauford Delaney who was born in Knoxville, TN. and lived in Paris from 1953-1979.
Prissy Mag's Editor shares some of her favorite places for getting out of Paris for a weekend. First, visit a B&B called La Maison Boheme near Tours with all its history, good food and Loire wines. Second, stay at Chateau de Lavaud in Southwest France. Final suggestion? A day trip or weekend to the beach at Deauville. Enjoy!
Prissy Mag and Expatsradio.com talk about getting married in Paris in this first programme together.
We take a look at all the options including the possibility of getting married at home and then having a religious or party ceremony in Paris. I also throw in some of my own personal recommendations such as hiring a wedding planner based here in Paris--Parisian Events.
As we told you in an earlier post, Prissy Mag is now working with Expats Radio, whose aim is to provide people already living or contemplating moving abroad with information on important issues like finance and law, compiled by their team, experts or the listeners themselves! Here's our first broadcast...What are your thoughts? Leave us a comment!
