 The main reason I adore Coffee Parisien is because of their great pancakes. Now, there are three locations--two in Paris and one in Neuilly Sur Seine. My favorite address is the one in the 16th. You'll want to be there at noon when they open if you go on the weekends because it's especially crowded then.
Speaking of the crowd, the bunch can be a bit chic and trendy, but never fear, the staff's nice enough and there are quite a few tourists who make their way over there too.
The shop is designed like a 1940s New York diner. American presidents grace the wall and there's a counter/bar. As I've said, the pancakes are among the best in Paris, if not the best. Also good is the cheesecake, and the bagel with cream cheese.
They also have these funny placemats with all the U.S. presidents listed on them, so if you get bored while you're waiting to order you can test out your historical memory.
