G-Strings and Thongs Suck

Before I give you the list, I have to get this out of my system. Most French women I know wear them. You can see them all over the streets sticking out of the pants of various women in various positions. Of course men love the g-string. The thong. And that's because they've never had to wear them! So, the next time your man insists you wear them, make him parade around in a thong all day and see if he doesn't change his mind. Then again, if he agrees to do it, run Forrest-nette, run!!!

Must-know Lingerie Stores in Paris

H&M

Good for small budgets, H&M is definitely an awesome address to have. There are at least ten stores that I know of in Paris. My favorite one is on Blvd. Haussman near Les Printemps (avoid Saturday afternoons at all costs).

The lingerie is fun and they have everything from lace to snoopy drawers. You can actually walk out of the store with a bra and panty set for les than 20€ and they often have sales. Just make sure you try it on (at least he first time you buy something there) as the sizes run big!

Etam

Etam rocks. In this store you'll pay about 50€ for a bra and panty set. They have lively colors and lots of choices, and the quality is good. I still have sets from this store that I bought five years ago and they're in great shape. For the rapport de qualité/prix, I'd say this is probably the best store to get your goods. What's cool about this store is that they give you one style of bra and panties but in different choices. For example, you'll have the same bra made with or without support, and for the lower part, boxers, regular panties or g-string. That is certainly not something you're going to find in every store. Etam also carries nice pjs and fun house shoes.

Princesse Tam Tam

Modern and refined is Princesse Tam Tam, and also more expensive, but very nice. Here you can find lovely bathing suits as well. Their colors and designs are often unique. The quality is great and the fabrics are excellent. You'll never find vulgar lingerie here. You could say it's the very opposite of a well-known store back in the States with the word "Hollywood" in it's name.

Darjeeling

I love this store too. It's pricey as well, but man is it nice. As far as the sexiness factor goes, they are near the top of the list my friends. Their designs are more intricate than say Etam and definitely H&M. Great colors and long lasting fabrics. Did i mention the sexiness factor?

Aubade

Speaking of the sexiness factor, this one makes the top of the list. Their ultra sexy advertisements (which we don't see as often as we used to) have inspired many a man and woman to rush out and buy some of this lingerie. Very pricey it is, but this is a top-ranked lingerie as well.

Good luck ladies! And remember, confidence is half the battle if not all the battle. Whether it's H&M or Aubade, feel good in whatever you wear.
