OK I have eventually succumbed to writing about fashion. It is too difficult a subject to ignore when living in Paris and we all know that fashion plays a big part in the attraction of LA VIE PARISIENNE, and don’t we love it.

They call them sarouel pants in France. Back in the U.S. they’re known as M.C. hammer pants, parachute pants, or even harem pants. Whatever you call them, they’re big in Paris right now, and the style doesn't seem to be scaring anyone off...yet

The first fish therapy center, located near the Pantheon, has opened up in Paris. This is where you go to have small fish exfoliate your feet. I’m not kidding! Your fish therapy consists of letting your feet be surrounded by um... fish... followed up with massage therapy and a pedicure. Hmmm….any takers? Believe it or not but these centers already exist in Asia (believable) and America (they must be in be LA). The lady at the accueil assured me that the fish involved are not piranhas (I’m still traumatized by the 1978 film).
