Le Dodin de Mark Singer is a beautifully decorated new restaurant located at 42 rue des Acacias in the 17th.
There are actually quite a few castles and chateaux situated around Paris and of course the most well known of these is the Chateau de Versailles, but we thought we would take a look at one of the lesser known palaces called the Chateau de Chantilly, which is also on a grand scale with phenomenal history and remarkable museums.
Oh the places we go for our dear Prissy Mag readers. Personally, I was very afraid, having never entered a sex shop before, that is until I walked through the doors of this one: Rebecca Rils. Although it's located in the Pigalle section of Paris, it's nothing like what you'd probably expect . When one thinks about Pigalle one automatically thinks of raunchy sex stores, videos, weird looking pimps hanging outside of weirder looking clubs and places trying to get you to come in. Rebecca Rils is anything but that.
Kim Petyt, an American wedding planner based here in Paris, is one admirable woman. She's been creating events for almost 10 years, both in the U.S. and in France, and is the Owner and Managing Director of a full-service wedding and event planning agency called Parisian Events, which caters to the English-speaking community in Paris. Her specialty is combining traditional American elements with classic Parisian elegance. Kim recently made time in her busy schedule to talk to us and here's what she had to say.
Once an unknown Parisian wine shop located in the heart of Saint Germain des Près, the Maison des Millesimes (Vintage House), has become an internationally renowned wine cellar and one of the best-known and most successful wine shops in France, recognized for its exquisite collection and quality to price ratio, especially in Bordeaux wines. It’s easy to be impressed by the depth and diversity of wines and the success of this 300 square foot wine shop run and owned by Thomas Noël, 29, oenophile and master of his trade.
