 In the U.S. we?re used to seeing black doctors, lawyers, news anchors, reporters, surgeons, and of course, business owners. In France however, it?s a different story. Last summer Paris got its first ever lead news anchor, a black man named Harry Roselmack who fills in for senior journalist Patrick Poivre d?Arvor?s (known as PPDA). No one expected it or saw it coming and the noise still hasn?t died down.
Phillipe Megange is what I like to call atypique in Paris too. He stands out because he?s a black Frenchman riding at the helm of his own company, Prestige Business Center . Like Roselmack, Megange has roots in Martinique and is changing the way people usually think about the black French population.

R emember Star Ac 4? Okay, now think back to the talented guy who sang songs from Elvis. You probably remember him only as "Morgan," but today Morgan Auger is in the process of making his entire name known. With a style and voice as smooth as Josh Groban, Morgan is a dynamic singer bringing it to us in both French and English. Prissy Mag recently caught up with him as he prepares to take the United States and France by storm.
PM: What was it like being on Star Academy? I remember seeing you on the show and commenting on how good you are!
MA:This image was mainly for visual effect and it's really a caricature. The production department had to give me a stereotype.

 This time Prissy Mag?s taking you all the way to London to introduce you to a fabulous (we certainly think so) photographer by the name of Jens whom we discovered grace à the internet. One of the things we like most about Jen?s work is the creativity behind it. Here?s what he had to tell us about it.
PM: How would you introduce yourself to our readers?
JL: Hmm, I don?t know...
PM: How long have you been taking pictures?
JL: Since I was a child and first owned a camera at the age of 10 (34 now). Since then all of my money and passion have gone into photography ? I feel lost without it.

Challenge2Society is on a mission. That mission is to compel people to donate their time money and energy to helping out the world's underpriviledged. Steve Gardner, who's the founder, tells Prissy Mag more about it.
PM: So, you?re an American, living in Moscow?
SG: Yes, I?m American and currently living in the Moscow, Russian Federation, and back to being a full time student. I?m working towards an international MBA, and currently in a language (Russian) emersion program, prior to being allowed to attend Moscow State University.
PM: What?s your typical day there like?
SG: I spend six hours in school, two on the metro, two and a half hours of homework balanced by a set of correspondence with India, Turkey, USA (East and West coast) so I?m living in a ?flattened world (The World is Flat ) and working five or so hours on Challenge2Society?s website.
