Owned by French/American couple Florence and Robert Manderscheid, the Château de Lavaud is a Bed & Breakfast situated just outside the small 12th c. town of Montbron, at the doorstep of the Dordogne and Perigord regions.
The recently renovated chateau sits on 10 acres of park with century old trees, and is bordered by the river Tadoire. Part of "la douce France", the area is known for its cuisine, numerous medieval chateaux and churches, beautiful countryside and generally mild climate.
Heated pool, cycling, hiking, and fishing are all available at the chateau.Golf and tennis are only 10 minutes away. There's accompanied cycling in June and September, and art classes will be available in August.
