Star Academy: Back Again!

Star Academy Are you ready to go back to the Chateau? Well believe it or not, the casting for "Star Ac 7" is already in the works. For all you folks who didn?t know Star Academy is the French version of American Idol and produced by mega company Endemol (think Big Brother as well).

 

According to TF1?s website (www.tf1.com), you can already apply by sending in your dossier. You have to be over 17 years old, be stylish, able to sing, dance, write?you know-the usual type of things that can turn you into an overnight star.

Presented to us by the affable (and beau) Nikos Aliagas, it seems like yesterday we were watching him introduce Jennifer, who would later go on to take the crown as the first (and most successful to date) Star Academy winner. The show has definitely changed and improved over the years, drawing all the ?big? French names?Johnny Holliday, Dany Brillant, Raphael and Michel Sardou for example. Famous international singers have shown up too. Shaggy, Béyonce, Pink, Elton John, Lionel Richie, Dannii Minogue, and Sting among many others, have all appeared on the show.
