We were very sorry to hear that the singer and actor Gerard Berliner died Tuesday at Necker Hospital in Paris at age 54. I interviewed Mr. Berliner for Prissy Mag back in 2006 after viewing his play "My Alter Hugo," which we wrote about again last year.

They're back! Not too long ago we told you about Luca and Jerome, two 30’s something friends who are completely different. If you didn't have a chance to see them before, now you can, in an extraordinary play which shows that opposites really do attract.

What do friends Luca and Jerome have in common? Practically nothing! Find out what these two are up against in a French play entitled "Les Opposés Ca Tire!" on January 27 at the Point Virgule theatre.

Gerard Berliner, French actor, musician and composer, is back in the theater where he belongs with Mon Alter Ego (My Alter Ego). Berliner's one man show is so good. Not only is he a dead ringer for Hugo, Berliner is so caught up in the role that you have the feeling you are indeed watching and listening to Victor Hugo himself. Perhaps hard to explain and even imagine given that we've only met Hugo through his writings, but on stage, Berliner is Hugo.

I'm calling this outside theater because that's the only thing I can think of to call it. Outside entertainment works too. Peu importe. If you're out taking your Sunday walk around Paris and you want some entertainment, then check out this guy who does some pretty amazing feats.
