I took this picture in April and asked my blog readers to guess where it is. I really like this curious drinking fountain, for that's what it is, because of its intriguing design. It's been created in a way that if you look at it side on, the right-hand edge, as we see it here, is the perfect silhouette of a woman's (probably) face.
But as you can see, her nose and mouth and eyes just don't stop and go right the way round the edge. It's a lot of fun to look at and move around. And that's a nice fuzzy French café all lit up in the evening in the background, by the way.
You can find it/her right next to Notre Dame, just off to the left as you look directly at the two big towers from the plaza. Santé!

As usual, Mr. Will captures those rarities which Paris is so famous for. Well done, and great webzine.

Spectacular photo. At first I thought it was taken in Egypt??? But it had to be Paris, of course, duh. Appreciate you sharing this. Admire his talent very much. Now off to try to find it!

Well well well...
How very interesting... I'm flattered and charmed to find that so many people don't seem to find my work so execrable (all 6 of U) Paris is full of surprises. And I'll do my best to lay a few more of them on you in coming weeks..! Sab 7

Hi, it's me again, just passing by, and I realise that I didn't mention that I found a second one of these fountains, right next to the fountain St. Michel. So keep a look out for it if you're passing by, do something creative with it, and let me see it!
Best, Sab 8
