I've already sounded off about this unhappy woman in my local park (park Montsouris in the 14th arrondissement), callously suggesting that she could be the crappiest statue in Paris. I'm now forced to modify that judgment: I'm now absolutely convinced that my first impression was correct!

I took this picture in April and asked my blog readers to guess where it is. I really like this curious drinking fountain, for that's what it is, because of its intriguing design. It's been created in a way that if you look at it side on, the right-hand edge, as we see it here, is the perfect silhouette of a woman's (probably) face.
