If you're a fan of Victor Hugo, then you should visit his apartment. Between 1832 and 1848, Hugo lived on the second floor of the former Hôtel de Rohan-Guéménee, situated in the Place des Vosges. He was 30 when he moved in with his wife and four children. By the way, it's free to get in!

I wondered into this lovely little find on my way to Alcazar one night because quite frankly, it's located right down the street. I can understand why many call TASCHEN "the reference point" when it comes to books on publishing fashion, photography, architecture, painting, design and erotica.
