They’re bacccccck !!! Now that winter seems to be over in Paris, expect weekly and even daily demonstrations. If you’re in a car these demos can be quite tedious, and when walking near them at times it can be downright scary. If you’re on the street and suddenly find yourself witnessing one of these lively demonstrations, here’s a little advice.
- Don’t try to cut through the crowd.
- Don’t try to clash with them, defy them, challenge them…unless you want to risk serious injury.
- Don’t hang around too close especially once the demonstration ends
as some of the marchers tend to be rowdy and yeah, drunk (or on their
way to getting drunk) at the end.
Remember; we warned you. Now don’t let us see you being carried off by the pompiers (ambulance) on the nightly news!
