Givens, who has rarely been seen in the public eye since going on live TV to tell Barbara Walters how horrible and abusive her husband was, is back in multi layers. First, there's a book. Sigh. Then, there's a movie. Sigh again.

For the book, Grace Will Lead Me Home: Who cares about what really happened between her and Tyson all those years ago? And did she have to say in a recent magazine article that she still loves Tyson? What do the French say? Nímporte quoi! Sorry, Robin, but I didn´t believe you then and I sure as hell don´t believe you now. That reeks of press whoring ( a term I picked up from that crazy gossip blogger P.H. )

Second: How many people are really interested in the Wendy Williams story, the movie that Givens will be staring in? As I type this, my assistant asks me, "Who's Wendy Williams"? Ya see? You have to live in New York City maybe to know that Wendy Williams is the Oprah Winfrey, perhaps, of urban entertainment. In other words, she's a hot DJ who interviews rappers and hip hop folk, and she asks the questions who want people to ask.

As one entertainment reporter puts it:

If you hadn’t noticed, the two look NOTHING alike. Wendy Williams is 6 feet tall with a size 12 shoe and often compared to a tranny. Robin Givens is 5 feet and some change, weighs as much as a bag of bones and wears a 5 1/2. I guess this is where the movie magic comes in. Wendy Williams addressed the issue on her show, saying that she has a ‘unique’ look and it would be hard to find someone to play her. She was left with Queen Latifah and RuPaul as an option. She quickly ruled the two out because 1)Latifah is too boyish and 2) Rupaul is….a boy. Personally, I would’ve went with RuPaul on that one…

There are a few things I do appreciate about Robin Givens though: She has beautiful children, she looks beautiful on the cover of her book, she played a great psycho in Boomerang, and finally, she has slept with Brad Pitt.

We wish her well with all her projects...but hope she doesn't continue proclaiming unfinished love for Mike Tyson.
