Rebecca Rils: Erotic Supermarket
Written by Priscilla Lalisse
Rebecca RilsOh the places we go for our dear Prissy Mag readers. Personally, I was very afraid, having never entered a sex shop before, that is until I walked through the doors of this one: Rebecca Rils. Although it's located in the Pigalle section of Paris, it's nothing like what you'd probably expect . When one thinks about Pigalle one automatically things of raunchy sex stores, videos, weird looking pimps hanging outside of weirder looking clubs and places trying to get you to come in. Rebecca Rils is anything but that.

Rebecca RilsThe best thing about the store is that it's bright and airy. There's plenty of space and the clients look like "normal" people. Most of the people we saw were between the ages of 25 and 50. There were couples, and many single ladies. Tourists were aplenty, probably because it's located only a few feet away from the famous Moulin Rouge.

The store has four main sections, which include DVDs, lingerie, shoes, and gadgets. The gadget section blew me away, but as my mother tends to read Prissy Mag, I'll let you go there and discover most of those for yourself. Suffice it to say that if you're looking for it, it's probably there. You won't however find any vulgarity in the store, and perhaps that's one of it's best qualities. You can look around and shop in peace without feeling like you're somewhere you're not supposed to be. At least, this was our experience.Rebecca Rils

Just to name a few of their items, here's what we saw: Furry handcuffs in bright colors, plastic clothes, masks, whips, sensational oils and creams, chocolate sauce, hard candy (use your imagination), French nurse's uniforms, beads and balls of all kinds, stockings, panties, corsets, high heeled shoes and boots.

The salespeople are very helpful and serious when answering your questions. Patient too. After telling us what a handful of gadgets were used for, and witnessing puzzled looks on our faces, they were still smily, helpful, and sincere. They also speak several languages with English being one of them.

So don't be scared. Go and check it out. It could be good for your couple, for yourself, or for all the upcoming bachelor and bachelorette parties that summer tends to bring.
