Christian Hip Hop has really taken off and has amassed a large following back in the U.S. Could it soon be coming to Paris? The French are already in love with black gospel. Could Christian Hip Hop be next?

Prissy Mag was fortunate to run across a Christian hip hop or gospel rap artist, all the way from my home state of Alabama.

Going by the name of "Hunter", this young man has mad skills and has been doing this for over a year. His songs are catchy and his lyrics, which emphasize his faith, are meaningful. The tune you gotta listen to? "Naw it Ain´t."

PM: What is your primary message to people and who's your main audience?

HUNTER: Preaching the gospel of JESUS CHRIST to the world. I try to reach people of all age groups. From toddlers all the way to seniors. I notice at my concerts everyone really get involved. Glory to GOD!

PM: How do you hope your music will influence young people?

HUNTER: I give thanks to the LORD for this ministry and what its doing in the lives of young people. I hope it renew their mind as they meditate on the lyrics to live a righteous and GODLY life. Also to help install bible knowlege and morals back into this generation.

PM: Is it working?

HUNTER: Fa´sho

PM: What type of feed back have you gotten from young people?

HUNTER: It been all positive they are loving the new vibe. All the young people that hear the sounds Break Loose Production has put out as of now has recieve an awesome review. They are really looking for ward to the full album to drop. Glory to GOD. "The Walk" coming soon LORD willing!

PM: What kind of feedback have you gotten back from ministers?

HUNTER: They have really been embracing this move of GOD in the HolyHipHop from my experience with the ones I been around and have talked with.

PM: What kind of feeback have you gotten from adults and parents?

HUNTER: It´s been awesome, their have been stories from some parents of them having to actual go into their kids room and remove the CD from the player from theirs kids spinning it so much. All in LOVE you know cause it was bed time they said. The adults also tell me that is in their CD changer so that a blessing to hear always. Glory to GOD!

PM: What do your friends think about your music and your message?

HUNTER: It´s awesome to see their reaction, has been good. They know where I use to be before I got saved, and back then I was in the secular hiphop industry. It like a night and day change they see in my walk with the LORD and hear in the lyrics of my music.

PM: Anything else you want to add?

HUNTER: Yeah, no matter what the world says, break loose.
