strike rageOne thing one can never get used to living in Paris, the STRIKES. I just heard that there will indeed be another "black day" Wednesday. Man oh man oh man! Who are these people and what do they want? Just the usual suspects. More to come. Be warned though: Wednesday will be ugly. Probably very ugly.

South Africa Wins Rugby World Cup!

south africaDarn! South Africa managed to pull it off and has dethroned England as Rugby Champions. Oh well, at least the game was much easier to watch than that of France and Argentina last night, and England still has the cutest uniforms, he he.

sarko a free man!What a day to get the official announcement: strike day! First, it was all about the strikes, and then after 1 o'clock when the official news hit, it was all about Sarko and Cecilia. No one can say that this hasn't been a very interesting week in France.

Bertrand Cantat Freed

marie_trintignantBertrand Cantat, lead singer of the rock band Noir Désir was set free this week after spending four years in prison for the death of his girlfriend, French actress Marie Trintignant. Cantat has gone back to his home in Landes, and apparently to his ex wife who has supported him throughout the entire ordeal. Accompanied by two body guards due to death threats he has received, Cantat begged the press for a bit of "peace."
