Mouthwatering Babouska
Written by Priscilla Lalisse
image0001gucci.jpgLooking for your new fall handbag? Then search no more. On a recent visit to Gucci , look what we found: this black python wonder. Isn't it grand? It has leather trimming, suede fringe, a zippper/button closure, and a removable handle. It's inspired by the Russian Babouska doll (also known as the stacking doll) or in this case, more precisely, the Dedoushka doll. Love it? The babouska hobo will set you back 1550€. Order it online if you can't get over to rue Saint Honoré.

John Edwards Admits Affair
Written by Priscilla Lalisse
image0001john_edwards_cheating.jpgSome used to think the National Enquirer was just a big ole lying tabloid, but not anymore. First he denied it, and then finally, he admitted to having an extra martial affair. John Edwards , often referred to as the "third man" in the democratic run for the big seat in the oval office has somewhat fallen from grace. OK, let's admit it, he's messed up big time.

Paris Plage: Still Going
Written by Priscilla Lalisse
image0004paris_plage.jpgFor all of you who are longing for a little beach atmosphere, it's not too late to head over to Paris Plage. It’s worth a visit, especially if you like walking along the Seine. There weren’t as many people as I expected the day I journeyed over there, but still plenty of adults and kids. For them, there are sprinklers, a giant sandbox and a swimming pool (kids must be in swim wear with caps to enter and parents as well). For adults there are exercise machines, lounge chairs to read, petanque (balls) and of course the “beach” area where people really seemed to enjoy themselves. Paris Plage, from now until August 20.
